Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 20

Happy 2010, everyone! New beginnings, fresh starts, new outlooks. I love the turn of a new year, and we thought we'd change the challenge up a bit for #20!

This week, the challenge is to create an altered item that fits the following criteria:

• Item must be a purse/tote bag (any size)
• Must include at least one stamped image
• Must incorporate a winter theme (snowflakes, snowmen, Valentine’s Day, outdoor snow activities)

Your entry must be submitted before January 25th to have a chance to win! The prize is listed just below the designer's entries. Please don't forget that your entry must be linked to your blog entry (not blog), the project must be new, and must meet the PKS criteria for your project to be eligible. Combining challenges from other sites is okay so long as all the criteria are met for our challenge.

And that's it! When the designers sent me their submissions this week, I was just blown away. You have to check out their purses, totes, and bags to truly be inspired! Emma, one of our designers, has even offered her purse pattern for you to download and try out! Please click here to download a PDF of the pattern. Thank you for sharing it with us, Emma!

Our pickrandom.com winner of the new Simple Sallies assortment is: 16. CarolN! Carol made a fun, unique card using our free digi stamp that was given away on New Years Day. Congratulations, Carol! Please email me your details so I can get your fun new faces to you! :)

And without further ado, our designers' amazing bags:

Viv's project showcases the charming snowman face from PK-480. Be sure to check out the gorgeous cards she made to fit inside when you hop over to her blog!

Lorie used PK-015 to love up her tote; you have to RUN to her blog to check out the inside!

Janice has created a gorgeous icy blue bag and matching tag using PK-311 and PK-306A.

Jacqui's fun and funky cone-style bag was made using PK-328A.

Nikki's adorable Valentine's day gift bag was made using PK-M12 and PK-531!

Emma also used PK-531 to dress up her paper doll on this super fun favor purse! It's the same pattern offered for download! :)

Sorry, I won't be posting a project this week. I wanted to, but Peachy Keen Stamps has been moving into a new office, and our crafting things are in a disarray at the moment. I will definitely post my project if I can get one completed by the end of today, if not, you probably won't be missing much anyway! LOL Our designers are super talented, so I know we're not short of eye candy!! :)

The prize for this challenge is a copy of Cardmaking with Cricut from Annie's Attic! Even if you don't own a Cricut, this book is chock full of fun ideas and will definitely inspire you to purchase one!

Good Luck, Everyone!!
Big hugs,
Angelica

  7. THANK YOU SO MUCH PEACHY KEEN!
I love the little faces that I have and these will be a great addition. The little cutie with the glasses will be my first project.
I had fun coloring the new year digi stamp, but really did not want to cut it in thirds, but I am glad I did!
Will be trying a NEW thing with the tote bag, really stepping out of my comfort zone with this challenge.
Again, thanks so much for the Simple Sallie assortment. I will put them to good use.
