Peachy Keen Stamps :: Getting to Know Janice

I consider myself a very blessed person. Not only do I get to work for a living in an industry that is exciting, dynamic, and full of girl-power, but as the blog and DT coordinator, I get to work with some of the most talented women I know! One of those inspiring women is Janice, a fantastic friend who is always there ready to step in when we need a hand, or offer advice and thoughts on any certain subject. I am amazed at the creativity she comes up with for each challenge. We could not have made it this far without her and the rest of the team! Here's how she answered the Q&A I sent her way...

How long have you been a designer for Peachy Keen Stamps?

I was a guest designer in October 2009 and it became official November 30, 2009.

How would you describe your design style?

I don't really feel that I have a specific style. I lean toward cute, bright and cheerful. I love to think outside the box and often create scenes and paper piece. I try to keep it varied and try not to have a signature look. But maybe I do and am just fooling myself.

What is your FAVORITE Peachy Keen Set?

That's a tough question to answer. I love them all! One that I have used often is PK-614 Fall Fun Pumpkins. Fall is my favorite season and I love all the stamps in that set!

Besides stamping, what other crafts and hobbies do you enjoy?

I have dabbled in silk flower arrangements, wreaths. I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, board games, and sudoku. Word games, Family Feud and silly mindless games like Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook.

Who inspires you?

Inspiration is all around us! I am inspired by other artists/bloggers, nature, people, rainbows, babies, the list is endless.

You're asked to get crafty in a room with absolutely no supplies -you can bring five tools. What do you bring with you?

1. detail scissors

2. paper cutter

3. copics/colored pencils

4. Peachy Keen Stamps

5. Scorepal

What is your crafty space like?

You don't want to know. Can we whisper, "hoarders". A better question for me would be, "What does your dream space look like?" Sorry to say I am organizationally challenged.

What is your favorite music to play while creating?

Oldies, soft rock, or classic rock!

We asked Janice what her favorite PKS project was. She couldn't decide and sent us two, and coincidentally one of them was the one we chose as our favorite, too!! Great minds... :)

One of Janice's Faves (we think it's pretty darn gorgeous, too):

This card is beautifully done with our Fall Fun Pumpkins (I think it is uhhhhmazing!)

And our fave:
